Position Summary: The Production Grader/Marinator positions are vital roles in the company, responsible for grading and inspecting food products to ensure quality and consistency. These positions play a critical role in maintaining high standards of product quality and adhering to food safety regulations. The Production Grader/Mar also assists in packaging and labeling products for shipment.
What you’ll do:
- Grade and inspect food products according to established quality standards, including appearance, texture, color, and size.
- Remove any damaged or substandard products from the production line and report them to supervisors.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Assist in packaging and labeling food products, ensuring accurate weights, quantities, and labeling information.
- Operate and maintain grading and sorting equipment, performing regular maintenance and cleaning as required.
- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and meet production targets.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and quality control measures.
About you:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail and ability to spot product defects or abnormalities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic math skills to accurately measure and calculate product quantities.
- Willingness to follow instructions and work according to established processes.
- Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
- Previous experience in a food production or grading role is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
